Waiting.....
We think we will travel around mid to late September. That is if we stay the average, we could go sooner we could go later. If you are wondering if the wait is harder now that we have a picture of Sophie, nope the entire wait SUCKS! Ok, I will be honest it is a little harder. Each time I look at her picture my heart aches. Is she ok? Can she hear my whispers that we love her and that we are coming?
This is the most exhausting experience, and I know it will all be worth it once that little girl that we have dreamed and waited for is put in our arms. We love you Sophie, we will be there soon. We promise.

Oh, your post brought tears to my eyes...keep whispering!! Time goes quickly in the summer - a great time to wait, dream and keep busy in the sunshine!!!!

Try to hang in there! I can understand - it is hard when you have a picture. It makes you want to be in China now.
Soon you will be there with your baby. The journey is about to end and begin again. Keep the faith.

Ya I think the wait might be harder once the photo is in your hand and you just know she is there in China needing her Momma. On the other hand isn't there like a million things to do before you travel? Vaccines, packing lists, travel plans, a room to prepare, immigration paperwork out the ying yang? that might all take up a day or so, no?
I really feel for you at this point. I'm sure it has to be harder looking at her photo, wondering, waiting.
Soon, mama, soon...though it will never seem soon enough.

yes, it's harder now with the picture. and yes, it's exhausting.
But SOON you will be there with Sophie! And you'll still be exhausted, you just won't notice it as much ;)
